What's your super strength?
The average life span is 4200 weeks. It doesn't sound much, does it?
With Easter this weekend, I have a few days off work, during which time I know I will take some time to reflect.
Life's short, so I want to make the most of every day, tell the people whom I am closest to that I love them and spend time with the human equivalent of radiators, not drains.
But, there’s another crucial thing I need to do to help my wellbeing. I try and nurture my self-esteem by focussing on my strengths, worrying less about my weaknesses. To become the best version of myself. I am trying to turn my strengths into super strengths.
I believe that to add value to the companies I work with and to feel good about myself, is most effective if I celebrate the things that I am great at and make them so much better.
No-one has to be good at everything, but if you excel at the things you do well, you'll make a more considerable difference to everyone and everything around you. And, at the same time, feel much better about yourself. Who wouldn’t want that?
So as you have a few hours over Easter to contemplate the next business quarter. What super strength do you want to focus on for the remainder of your 4200 weeks in life?
