Tony Miller CMO WW, talks about how he reset marketing with Let's Reset.
Joining a new business in lockdown is a familiar story to many, Tony highlights the challenges of his role as CMO at WW when he couldn't meet his team or his customers and how he found a way forward.
'It was a great focus on what priority was our priority... where we needed to put our energy, not just us as a leadership team, but also for the teams that we all manage. Let's Reset gave us some really clear road maps and clear insight to focus on. We are using you this year to make sure that we get the best out of everybody, a highly functioning team ... being aligned with the right priorities and KPI's to focus on. Tony joined WW on 2nd April, at the start of lockdown. As part of the leadership team they needed to refocus the business, get everyone working from home, pivot the customer support to being digital, move physical workshops to virtual with scaled back budgets and motivate all the teams to be productive and effective. At the same time Tony needed to undertake a marketing reorg and manage the change ! Let's Reset helped the leadership team navigate their way through the change and think about the cultural and commercial implications of the pandemic. We helped them think about where their energy should be focussed and created a roadmap to follow, now we are looking to 2021 and how Tony will focus on growth, wellbeing and the values of the business and the team.
